Milan Digital Audio (MDA) today announced the release of Hauptwerk VIII v8.0.1.002, a quick bug fix release of their Hauptwerk VPO software.

The only changes in v8.0.1 above v8.0.0 are:

• Bug-fix: in v8.0.0 error 87 was possible when loading organs if using a Lite Edition v8 Perpetual license.
• Compatibility: a work-around has been added to retain compatibility with images in sample sets that have the wrong file extensions for their formats.

The Hauptwerk Release Notice, also located in the Hauptwerk Virtual Pipe Organ/Documentation folder, contains a comprehensive list of all new features and fixed bugs.

The installers for macOS and Windows can be downloaded from the Hauptwerk website.
